The Institute of Computing (IC) is pleased to announce the election of Professor Flávio Keidi Miyazawa as a Full Member of the São Paulo State Academy of Sciences (ACIESP).
A professor at IC since 1998, Professor Flávio develops research in the areas of Algorithm Analysis and Combinatorial Optimization, with contributions of national and international prominence, and his election as a Full Member represents recognition of the relevance of his academic and scientific trajectory.
ACIESP brings together scientists to promote science, technological development and education, in addition to contributing to public policies and initiatives aimed at the progress of the State of São Paulo and the country.
The inauguration ceremony for the new members will be held in 2025, on a date and location yet to be announced.
Professor Flávio receives congratulations from the Institute, with the conviction that his contributions will continue to have a significant impact on the development of education and science.
