The Cesar Gon alumni will finance 5 PhD scholarships at the Instituto de Computação

It is with great satisfaction that the Institute of Computing makes public the recent partnership with Cesar Gon, our former undergraduate and master's student between 1989 and 1995. With this partnership, César generously donates, monthly, resources equivalent to 5 (five) scholarships. doctorate to the Institute's Alumni Scholarship Program.
Alumni Fellowships are offered by former students of undergraduate and graduate courses at the Institute of Computing and aim to help finance student projects regularly enrolled in our undergraduate and / or graduate courses.

It is with immense joy that we thank Mr. Cesar Gon for his generosity and wish him much success in his career. Below, a little bit of the history of our former student César and his trajectory after graduating from IC / Unicamp.

Cesar holds a degree in Computer Engineering and a Master's in Computer Science from IC / Unicamp. Together with Bruno Guiçardi and Fernando Matt, also former students of IC, he founded CI&T, a multinational reference company in the information technology sector. Today, CI&T has operations in 8 countries: Brazil, United States, Canada, Portugal, United Kingdom, China, Japan and Australia, maintaining its headquarters in the city of Campinas.

Cesar was also one of the founders of Unicamp Ventures, a network that connects daughter companies and entrepreneurial alumni of the university. “I have an emotional connection with Unicamp, it is part of my life. It was there that I did my undergraduate and master's degrees, met my partners and even my wife (laughs). I always try to contribute to the university ”, Cesar tells us.
