Graduation

The IC Graduate Program began in 1977 with the Master's degree in Computer Science. The Doctorate in Computer Science was created in 1997. 

IC graduate courses - Master's degree Doctoral Program – have grade 7 in CAPES (maximum grade). Both are well consolidated and have already graduated more than 1020 masters and more than 280 doctors (data from July 2021) – Check out the complete history of defenses. Students and teachers of the program have already received distinctions and awards that indicate the excellence of training and research results obtained over the years.

The IC Graduate Program is formed by professors who work in several lines of research and with a prominent role in the development of Computer Science in Brazil. Several of them have a CNPq Research Productivity Scholarship. Click here and learn more about the faculty.
