Considerations for the 2020 disciplines

CPG classified the postgraduate courses offered for 2020 into 7 themes: Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering and IHC, Networks and IOT, Computer Architecture and Programming, Visual Computing, Algorithms and Optimization and Graphs and Combinatorics:

Each theme is composed of a set of related disciplines that cover 1 2s and 2020s so that whenever possible, their schedules are not conflicting. This organization serves to facilitate the understanding of the offer.

First Semester 2020 courses

Os schedules offering and vacancies of the disciplines must be consulted -> HERE <-. (document maintained by the Undergraduate Secretariat)

(about the time format in the document, follow the example: “3:10 3:11 5:10 5:11” means that the classes will be taught on Tuesdays (3) and Thursdays (5), from 10 am to 12 pm )

(*) About the language: Portuguese or English means that the course will be taught in the language agreed with the class at the beginning of the semester.

NOTE: MO901A refers to the discipline of seminars usually offered by IC and class B will be a class of seminars more focused on the theory area.

MO911 (4 credits) - First offer, comprising an overview of scientific method, scientific writing and assistance in the elaboration of your research theme.
Target audience: Master's and Ph.D. students entering or beginning their course who are still defining their theme. It will be offered in conjunction with the discipline MO430 (Scientific Methodology for Computing) in the first half of each semester. This course is aimed at special or regular students who have already qualified.
It is not possible to take both subjects (MO911 and MO430) concurrently.
