Regulations for Graduate Programs in Computer Science at the Institute of Computing

The Rector of the State University of Campinas, in the use of his legal attributions, in view of the approved by CEPE, in his xxx Ordinary Session, of xxx, downloads the following Resolution:

Article 1 -        The Graduate Program (PPG) in Computer Science, at the Master's and Doctoral level, taught by the Institute of Computing, will be governed by the Rules of the General Regulations of the Graduate Courses of UNICAMP Deliberação CONSU-A- 8 of 25/03/2008, by this Regulation and by specific legislation in force.

CHAPTER I


Objectives and Titles

Article 2 -        The Graduate stricto sensu of the Institute of Computing aims at the qualification of researchers, teachers and other professionals.

Article 3 -        The Post-Graduation in Computer Science is made up of Academic Master courses, hereinafter simply called Master and Doctorate in Computer Science, and the Professional Master in Computer Science.

Single paragraph - The Professional Master's course is governed by this regulation and in a complementary manner to the rules here established by its own Regulation, which must be approved by the IC Congregation and higher bodies in the current regulatory form.

Article 4 -        The Masters and Doctorate Courses lead to the titles of Master in Computer Science and Doctor of Computer Science¸ respectively, without the first being a prerequisite for the second.

Article 5 -        Postgraduate courses stricto sensu are free.

CHAPTER II


Administrative Structure

Section I


Graduate Commission - CPG

Article 6 -        The activities of the Graduate Program of the Institute of Computing will be supervised by the Graduate Commission - CPG, auxiliary organ of the Congregation.

Article 7 -        The President of the Graduate Commission - CPG, professor with at least the title of doctor and under RDIDP regime, will be the General Coordinator of the Graduate Program of the Institute of Computing.

§ 1 -         The Congregation will constitute the Graduate Commission - CPG formed by the Graduate Coordinator of the IC, coordinator of the Professional Master's Course, by two professors who are doctors of the IC and by a student representative.

§ 2 -         The term of office of teaching, full and alternate members, and of the General Coordinator will be two years, and those of student representatives will be one year, in each case, a single successive reappointment is allowed.

§ 3 -         The General Coordinator of the Graduate Program will be chosen by election by the IC faculty members of the Graduate Program and graduate student representatives in the maximum proportion of 20% of their votes.

§ 4 -         The coordinator of the Professional Master's Course will be chosen according to the mechanism established in the Regulations of that course.

§ 5 -         The remaining faculty members will be proposed by the General Coordinator of the Graduate Program for approval by the IC Congregation.

§ 6 -         The student member will be chosen by the graduate student body through a process established by the IC Academic Center.

§ 7 -         There will be an alternate of teaching members and an alternate of the student representative chosen by the mechanism for choosing the respective members.

§ 8 -         The Congregation of the Institute of Computing shall communicate to the Central Graduate Commission - CCPG the constitution of the Graduate Commission - CPG and its amendments.

Article 8 -        It is the responsibility of the Graduate Commission - CPG, to advise the Congregation of the Unit in the activities specified in Resolution Consu-A-8-2008:

I -          Outline the guidelines and ensure the execution of Postgraduate programs;

II -        Coordinate the relevant didactic-scientific activities, within the scope of the Unit;

III -      Disclose the criteria for accessing graduate programs;

IV -       Organize the school calendar for each term and disseminate it in advance, based on the UNICAMP School Calendar;

V -         Decide on the number of places for master's and doctorate degrees, per course;

VI -       Organize the annual list of accredited advisors;

VII -      Authorize co-orientation in the case of teachers accredited in the program;

VIII -    Deliberate on changing advisor;

IX -       Establish the number of foreign languages ​​that will be mandatory, discriminating them, and establish the criteria for the proficiency exam;

X -          Authorize the use of subjects taken outside UNICAMP;

XI -       Deliberate on requests for transferring a master's student to a doctorate, according to previously established criteria;

XII -     Establish criteria for conducting qualification exams;

XIII -   To resolve on the qualifying examining examining committees;

XIV -    Designate the full and alternate members who will constitute the Examining Commissions for dissertations and theses;

XV -      Propose the composition of the Examining Committee for requests to obtain the title of doctor only with a defense of a thesis, under the terms of article 64 of the General Regiment of the University;

XVI -    To manifest itself on the processes of equivalence and recognition of titles and diplomas;

XVII -  Deliberate on the transfer of the concentration area;

XVIII -               Deliberate on requests for registration cancellation;

XIX -    Perform other duties, not provided for in this Regulation, resulting from rules issued by the Central Postgraduate Commission - CCPG.

CHAPTER III


Deadlines

Article 9 -        The Masters and Doctorate Courses will have a minimum duration of twelve and twenty-four months, respectively.

Sole Paragraph. The minimum duration requirement for students who have completed two and four full regular school periods, respectively, will be considered fulfilled.

Article 10 -     The maximum duration of the Master's courses will be 6 regular academic semesters and the Doctorate will be 12 regular academic semesters, which defines the term for completion of the course, which, if exceeded, will automatically cancel the student's enrollment in the course.

CHAPTER IV


Registration and Enrollment

Article 11 -     Admission to the Master and Doctorate Course in Computer Science will take place through a selective process to be carried out by the Graduate Commission - CPG.

§ 1 -         The Graduate Commission - CPG shall establish and make public the registration periods, the selection criteria for regular and special students, and the number of places available.

§ 2 -         Special students may be authorized by the Graduate Commission - CPG to enroll in one or more graduate courses, always aiming to enter as a regular student in a future selection process.

Article 12 -     At the time of initial enrollment, the regular student must present the acceptance of an advisor, accredited in the Program.

Sole Paragraph - The Program's General Coordinator may assume the orientation during the first semester in the absence of a thesis or dissertation supervisor.

Section I


Transfer

Article 13 -     According to criteria established by the Graduate Commission - CPG, transfers from master's to doctorate courses, as well as from direct doctoral to master's degrees, with the use of credits already obtained may be allowed.

§ 1 -         The regulations and rules of the new course, in force on the date of the transfer, must be complied with.

§ 2 -         For the purpose of counting payment time, the date of entry into the first course will be considered.

§ 3 -         The transfer of course will be allowed only once.

§ 4 -         The request for transfer of course will be made upon a detailed request from the advisor.

CHAPTER V


Curricular Structure

Article 14 -     To obtain the Master's degree, the student must perform the following activities:

I -           To pass the master's qualification exam (EQM) at the beginning of the second semester of the course, on a date to be established by CPG, according to Article 8, item IV.

II -        Prepare a dissertation, present and be approved in its defense;

III -      Attend and be approved in at least 22 credits in subjects until the end of the first year, considering any validation of credits previously taken, provided they are approved by CPG under the terms of the current regulations;

IV -       To pass the English aptitude exam given every six months by the IC until the end of the student's second semester in the course;

V -          Request, in a period to be established every six months by CPG, your participation in the Teaching Internship Program (PED), at least once until the third semester of the course;

VI -       Maintain minimum income coefficient equal to 3,0 (three);

Article 15 -     Every student of the Master's course must submit to and pass the Master's Qualification Exam (EQM) at the beginning of the second semester in the course, on a date to be established by the CPG, according to Article 8, item IV.

§ 1 -   The EQM aims to assess the candidate's analysis and synthesis capacity considering the activities developed, the content of his dissertation project and the feasibility of his schedule, as well as guiding the candidate as to the final stage of his master's course.

§ 2 -   The EQM will be held before an Examining Board, appointed by CPG, which will include at least three professors from the IC's PPG. The dissertation advisor is a born member of the Examining Board;

§ 3 -    The EQM will consist of a presentation of the dissertation proposal by the candidate, discussion and evaluation of the dissertation proposal, including the feasibility of its schedule.

§ 4 -   The final evaluation of the Examining Board, accompanied by justification, must be expressed using the following concepts: Approved; Conditionally Approved; Disapproved.

§ 5 -   In the case of the attribution of the concept “Conditionally approved”, the Examining Board must explicitly include, in its opinion, the conditions and the deadline for complying with the requirements.

§ 6 -   Failure to comply with the requirements mentioned in the previous paragraph within the established deadline will result in the concept becoming “Failed”.

§ 7 -   In case of failure, the student must re-submit to the NDE at the beginning of the following semester.

§ 8 -   Under the terms of the General Graduate Regulations (RGPG) of UNICAMP, in case of double failure in the EQM, the student will be automatically disconnected from the course.      

Article 16 -     The Master's degree student must complete a dissertation and defend it within its term of payment before a judging committee constituted under the terms of the RGPG of UNICAMP.

§ 1 -   The Master's dissertation must contain the results of the work carried out, with evidence of the candidate's ability to carry out a synthesis of results from the literature or of his / her ability to carry out a supervised scientific investigation, and must have writing quality and exposure compatible with the standards of the scientific literature in the area.

§ 2 -   The supervisor should forward, when marking the defense, suggestion of names for the composition of the judging commission in number and origin compatible with the terms of the RGPG of UNICAMP.

§ 3 -   The composition of the dissertation or thesis defense judging committee will be determined by CPG in the form provided for in UNICAMP's RGPG.

§ 4 -   The dissertation evaluation must be expressed according to the UNICAMP RGPG.

§ 5 -   In the event that the examining board recommends changes to the text of the dissertation or thesis, the supervisor will be responsible for verifying the implementation of the changes in the final version.

§ 6 -   The defense of the Master's Dissertation will take place at least 35 days after submission of the dissertation and the documents and forms required by UNICAMP rules to the Postgraduate Department.

Article 17 -     The disciplines of the Graduate Program are grouped into:

I -         Computer Systems

II -        Information systems

III -      Programming Systems

IV -       Computing Theory

V -         Specialized

Article 18 -     Each discipline of the IC PPG contained in the Catalog of Postgraduate Courses at UNICAMP will be associated by CPG to one of the five groups, based on their menus with each offer.

§ 1 -   A Master's student must obtain a minimum of 4 credits in the Computer Theory group and 4 credits in each of two distinct groups between Computer Systems, Information Systems and Programming Systems, at the student's choice and with the advisor's agreement.

§ 2 -   At least 20 credits must be obtained in regular subjects, excluding Seminars, Directed Studies and Teaching Internship.

§ 3 -   A maximum of 2 credits referring to the Seminar discipline will be counted towards the total credits of the course.

Article 19 -     A student of the Master's course may be required, by his advisor, to take specific disciplines or perform other academic activities to complement his education, whether extracurricular or not, at the discretion of the advisor.

Article 20 -     The Master course student must request, in a period to be established semiannually by CPG, his participation in the Teaching Internship Program (PED), at least once until the third semester of the course.

§ 1 -   CPG will forward the requests that have the agreement of the respective supervisors to the IC Graduation Committee (CG) for assigning the disciplines in which they will act.

§ 2 -   PED candidates who are allocated by CG must enroll in the Teaching Internship discipline in that semester.

Article 21 -     To obtain the degree of Doctor, the student must perform the following activities:

I -           Pass the general and specific qualification exams, hereinafter referred to as EQG and EQE

II -        Prepare a Thesis, present and pass in defense of it;

III -      Attend and pass subjects corresponding to 24 credits.

IV -       Pass the English proficiency exam given every six months by the IC.

V - Sto request, in a period to be established every six months by CPG, its participation in the Teaching Internship Program, at least once after passing the General Qualification Exam.

VI -       Maintain minimum income coefficient equal to 3,0 (three). 

Article 22 -     The purpose of the Doctoral Qualification Exams is to assess whether the candidate has the necessary background to continue the PhD course

§ 1 -   Students must pass the General Qualification Exam (EQG) and Specific Qualification Exam (EQE)

§ 2 -    The maximum deadline for all qualification exams is the first month of the student's fifth semester in the course.

§ 3 -   The EQG consists of an evaluation in the area of ​​Computer Theory and evaluations in two areas, chosen by the student, among Computer Systems, Information Systems and Programming Systems.

§ 4 -   CPG will inform, in the Catalog of Postgraduate Courses of UNICAMP, disciplines and concepts necessary for the fulfillment of the requirements of each of the EQG assessment areas.

§ 5 -   Alternatively to take a subject in the assessment area, the student may request, at the beginning of each academic semester, that a test be applied by an examining board appointed by CPG.

§ 6 -   The test can be oral or written, at the discretion of the examining board and will cover a set of regular subjects specified according to the Catalog of Postgraduate Courses at UNICAMP, released at least 6 months in advance.

§ 7 -   The final evaluation of the Examining Board must be expressed using the following concepts: Approved and Failed.

§ 8 -   Under the terms of the RGPG of UNICAMP, in case of double failure in the same area of ​​the EQG, a student will be automatically disconnected from the course.

§ 9 -   The Specific Qualification Exam (EQE) aims to assess the depth of the student's knowledge in the specific area of ​​his subsequent thesis work, the content of his thesis project and the feasibility of his schedule, as well as to guide the candidate as to the final stage of your doctoral course.

§ 10 -               The student can choose to submit to the EQE from the moment he has obtained approval in the EQG, respecting the maximum period specified by this Regulation.

§ 11 -               The EQE will be carried out before an Examining Board that will include at least three PhD professors, at least one of whom must be external to the IC's PPG. The Examining Board and its Chairman will be appointed by CPG. Neither the supervisor nor the co-supervisor will be part of the EQE Examining Board.

§ 12 -               The EQE will consist of a presentation of the thesis proposal by the candidate, oral argument and evaluation of the thesis proposal, including the feasibility of its schedule.

§ 13 -               Before the end of the specified period, the student must apply for registration with the CPG, at least three weeks before the desired date for the EQE, through the IC Graduate Office

§ 14 -               At the discretion of the Graduate Commission - CPG, external members of the Examining Board may participate via video conference.

§ 15 -               The final evaluation of the Examining Board, accompanied by justification, must be expressed through the following concepts: Approved, Conditionally Approved or Failed.

§ 16 -               In the case of the attribution of the concept “Conditionally approved”, the Examining Board must explicitly include in its opinion the conditions and the deadline for complying with the requirements. Failure to comply with the requirements will result in the concept becoming “Failed”.

§ 17 -               In case of failure, the student must re-submit to EQE within the period established by this regulation.

§ 18 -               Under the terms of the RGPG of UNICAMP, in case of double failure in the EQE, the student will be automatically disconnected from the course.

Article 23 -     The PhD thesis must contain the results of the research carried out, with original contribution to the study area and evidence of the candidate's ability to carry out a scientific investigation independently, and must be of sufficient quality to merit, at the discretion of the examining board, publication in computer magazine of recognized quality.

§ 1 -   The supervisor should forward, when marking the defense, suggestion of names for the composition of the judging commission in number and origin compatible with the terms of the RGPG of UNICAMP.

§ 2 -   The composition of the thesis defense judging committee will be determined by the CPG in the form provided for in the RGPG of UNICAMP.

§ 3 -   The evaluation of the thesis must be expressed according to the RGPG of UNICAMP.

§ 4 -   In the event that the examining board recommends changes to the text of the thesis, the supervisor will be responsible for verifying the implementation of the changes in the final version.

§ 5 -   The defense of the doctoral thesis will take place at least 45 days after submission to the Postgraduate Department of the thesis and the documents and forms required by UNICAMP rules.

Article 24 -     Obtaining all 24 credits, according to Article 21, item III, must occur until the end of the student's second year in the course, considering any credit validations previously taken, provided they are approved by CPG under the terms of the current regulations.

§ 1 -   Credits must be obtained in regular subjects, excluding Seminars and Directed Studies.

§ 2 -   If the student has a master's degree that requires compliance with credits in subjects, he can validate up to 12 credits, if authorized by CPG, at the request of the student and with the agreement of the supervisor.

§ 3 -   A student of the Doctorate course may be required, by his advisor, to take specific disciplines or perform other academic activities to complement his education, whether extracurricular or not, at the advisor's discretion.

Article 25 -     The PhD student must request, during a period to be established every six months by CPG, his participation in the Teaching Internship Program (PED), at least once after passing the General Qualification Exam.

§ 1 -   CPG will forward the requests that have the agreement of the respective supervisors to the IC Graduation Committee (CG) for assigning the disciplines in which they will act.

§ 2 -   PED applicants who are allocated by CG, must enroll in the Teaching Internship discipline in that semester.

Article 26 -     The courses taken may be taught by UNICAMP or by other institutions, according to the provisions of the Program Regulations, in the latter case they will be subject to the process of using studies, which will be forwarded to the Academic Board, after analysis by the Commission. Graduate Program - CPG that will evaluate the relevance of the same to the dissertation or thesis projects. The use of studies from disciplines taken outside Unicamp will be analyzed case by case by CPG.

Article 27 -     The curriculum to be developed by the student, in disciplines and research activities, will be defined by the Program Regulation from the Course Catalog.

Single paragraph -   The total credits required for the Master and Doctorate will be established independently.

Article 28 -     The regular student of the IC's PPG may request the CPG to validate credits taken, in accordance with current regulations.

Sole Paragraph - It is automatic to approve credit validation of subjects with mention A or B taken at the IC PPG in the five years prior to the date of the request.

Article 29 -     When submitting a request for the validation of credits taken outside UNICAMP to the DAC, the student must include, in addition to the other documents, the program for each of the subjects whose credits he / she would like to validate, as well as indicate, when available, a corresponding discipline in the IC PPG.

Article 30 -     In each Qualification Exam, the student will pass or fail, with no concept assignment, by a majority of the members of the Examining Committee.

§ 1 -   The student who fails the Qualification Exam may repeat it only once.

§ 2 -   The Examining Committee will be made up of professors, with a minimum degree of doctor, as indicated by the Graduate Commission, chosen according to Articles 14 º e 21 º this regulation.

Article 31 -     The Examining Committee for the defense of the Dissertation or Thesis must be expressed in accordance with the RGPG of UNICAMP.

§ 1 -   Qualifying Examining Commissions, Master's dissertation or Doctoral Thesis may comprise members who comply with the principles of impersonality and ethics in the relationship with the student, their advisor and other members of the committee.

§ 2 -   At the discretion of the Graduate Committee - CPG, external members of the Examining Committee may participate through videoconference, with participation in the master's degree being limited to one member and in the doctorate to a maximum of two members.

CHAPTER VI


Titles

Article 32 -     To obtain the title of Master or Doctor, it is required to comply with the activities explained in the articles 14 º e 21 º, that the regulatory requirements have been met and that there is a public defense before a Judging Committee, with approval, of a Dissertation or Thesis, respectively.

Sole Paragraph - The Master and Doctor titles will be those defined in the article 4 º.

CHAPTER VII


Faculty and Teachers

Article 33 -     A professor at UNICAMP who is accredited to work in the same program will be considered a professor in the Graduate Program in Computer Science.

Single paragraph - Other professionals, whether or not belonging to UNICAMP staff, will be considered teachers of the program, provided they are accredited by the Program.

Section I


Accreditation and Disqualification

Article 34 -     The accreditation of professors or researchers to work in the activities of the Graduate Program in Computer Science will take place in the denominations of Full, Participant or Visitor, defined according to the RGPG of UNICAMP:

§ 1 -   Participating Professors can act guiding or co-supervising up to 3 students of the Graduate Program simultaneously. They cannot be principal advisors for doctoral students. If they intend to do such guidance, they must request passage to the status of Full Professor.

§ 2 -   Visiting Professors can act as a co-mentor for up to 2 students in the Graduate Program simultaneously. They cannot be principal advisors.

Article 35 -     Annually, the CPG must make, for appreciation at the Congregation meeting in March or April, a brief presentation containing the evaluation of the results of the postgraduate studies of the previous year. If necessary, the CPG must present:

§ 1 -   A proposal to review metrics for evaluating activity reports for the future, always considering a transition period;

§ 2 -   A proposal to revise the productivity recovery plan.

Article 36 -     The accreditation of IC professors in the postgraduate program in Computer Science will take place through their work regime.

§ 1 -   Every RDIDP doctor is considered a Full Professor of the Graduate Program.

§ 2 -   Every RTC doctor professor is considered a Participating Professor in the Graduate Program unless explicitly requested to CPG, and his corresponding approval, to become Full Professor.

§ 3 -   Every RTP doctoral professor is not accredited in the Graduate Program, unless explicitly requested to CPG, and its corresponding approval, to become a Participating Professor.

§ 4 -   If a teacher has a reduction in the number of students or is disqualified from the Program, the current students will be kept under his guidance until his defense or his eventual departure from the course or change of orientation.

Article 37 -     The accreditation and disqualification of other professors, or researchers with or without an employment relationship with Unicamp, hereinafter referred to as External Professor, will be carried out on the proposal of the Graduate Commission - CPG approved by the Congregation of the IC and approved by the Central Commission Graduation - CCPG.

§ 1 -   The External Professor who so wishes should apply to IC's CPG for their accreditation due to their involvement in the IC Graduate Program, respecting the RGPG of UNICAMP.

§ 2 -   The exercise of postgraduate activities by the External Professor can only begin after the evaluation and approval of the accreditation request by CPG and its approval by the IC Congregation.

§ 3 -   To be accredited by the program, an External Teacher must have an output equal to or higher than that of a teacher in RDIDP at the MS5 level, as expected in the Evaluation Metrics System, in the last three years prior to his accreditation request.

§ 4 -   An External Teacher can only be accredited as a Full after his approval as a Collaborating Professor and will obey the same requirements stipulated for accreditation as a Full for professors of the IC staff.

§ 5 -   An External Professor accredited as a Participating Professor or Visiting Professor may only be a co-advisor and the principal advisor must be an IC professor accredited as Full.

Article 38 -     The forwarding of the accreditation request, referring to article 37 must include:

I -           Candidate's complete Curriculum Vitae, preferably in Lattes / CNPq format and indicating indexed publications and / or their qualifications by CAPES Qualis, when applicable;

II -        Specification of the activities to be developed in the IC Graduate Program that can be teaching, research, co-supervision of master's or doctoral co-supervision; and, in the case of co-orientation, the candidate must nominate the graduate student to be oriented;

III -      History of accreditations obtained from the IC, if any;

IV -       Duration of the validity requested, restricted to the maximum terms defined by Resolution CONSU-A-08/08 for each denomination; in the case of co-orientation, the period of validity of the accreditation will expire when the dissertation or thesis for which it is accredited is defended or, still, due to the eventual dismissal of the student;

V -          Proof of authorization for accreditation with the IC Graduate Program issued by the candidate's employment relationship institution;

VI -       In the case of accreditation as a Participant or Visitor, there must be justification from the principal advisor (Full Professor of the IC) on the importance and need to include him as a co-advisor. In particular, it must be justified because it is not possible to have a co-orientation only with professors who are internal to the program;

VII -     The renewal of accreditation of Doctor Researcher external to the IC framework will be conditioned to a report on the activities carried out by the candidate in the previous accreditation period.

Article 39 -     For the purpose of accreditation and disqualification of professors or researchers with an employment relationship with UNICAMP, the following rules must be observed:

§ 1 -   Accreditation and disqualification will be approved by the IC Congregation, at the suggestion of the Graduate Commission, with subsequent approval by the Central Graduate Commission - CCPG, and will be subject to periodic evaluation through CPG's opinion in the Activities Report of the Teacher

§ 2 -   Those who work in the Full Dedication to Teaching and Research Regime - RDIDP cannot be accredited in Postgraduate programs external to UNICAMP to carry out activities equivalent to those provided for in this Regulation for Full Professor.

Article 40 -     The accreditation of teachers or researchers with no employment relationship and, without any financial burden for UNICAMP, will observe the following rules defined in Resolution Consu-A-8-2008.

Section II


From the Advisor

Article 41 -     Each regular student will be guided in their activities by an accredited Advisor, teacher or professor.

Sole Paragraph. The Advisor's duties are defined in Resolution Consu-A-8-2008.

Article 42 -     In the event of the student or advisor giving up guidance, it will be the student's responsibility to seek the agreement of another IC PPG teacher to become their advisor.

Sole Paragraph - The PPG IC student who stays a semester without a defined advisor will be dismissed from the course.

Article 43 -     Each change of advisor must be submitted to the CPG for approval.

Article 44 -     Each supervisor of the IC PPG may have a total of up to 10 supervisors between Master and Doctorate

Sole Paragraph - Considering the history of scientific production and the training of masters and doctors of an advisor, as well as the average time of graduation of its graduated students, CPG may authorize an increase of this limit, individually, always aiming at guaranteeing the quality of the students' training , the good progress and growth of the IC PPG

Article 45 -     A student of the IC's PPG may have, in addition to their principal advisor, one or more co-advisors upon approval by CPG.

Single paragraph - In the case of students with two or more supervisors, only one of them may be part of their examining boards, both for NDE and EQE when defending a dissertation or thesis.

Article 46 -     Supervisors and co-supervisors outside the IC framework must be accredited in the IC PPG.

Sole Paragraph - Each student whose main advisor is external to the IC staff must have an internal co-advisor who will have, before the CPG and the student, the same rights and duties as the advisor, being co-responsible for the quality of the work to be developed.

Omissions and Transitional Provisions

Article 47 -     Students regularly enrolled in the IC PPG on the date of approval of these Regulations may request the CPG, until the end of the first semester of 2009, to apply these new standards, using a form available at the IC Graduate Office.

Sole Paragraph - For students who choose to apply these rules, in accordance with the caput of this Article, and who are outside the deadlines established here, CPG will establish, in a transitory manner, new deadlines compatible with the fulfillment of this Regulation.

Article 48 -     Omitted cases will be resolved by the CPG.

Article 49 -     This Regulation comes into force on the date of its publication.

Article 50 -     The provisions to the contrary are revoked, in particular, the IC Graduate Regulation of 26/10/2005, the IC Graduate Regulation of 21/02/2001, the IC Graduate Regulation of 09 / 01/1992, the General Rules of the Master's Course 1995 and the Doctoral Course 1998.
