Menus and criteria for exemption from General Doctoral Qualification Examination

CPG/IC Resolution No. 001/2019

Provides for the subjects whose programs and bibliographies correspond to the General Doctoral Qualification Exams and provides for the exemption from the General Doctoral Qualification Examination.

Article 1: The subjects whose program and bibliography correspond to the General Doctoral Qualification Exams (EQG) in the three areas offered are the following:

I. Computer Systems: MO401, MO403 and MO611.

II. Information Systems: MO409, MO620 and MO410.

III. Computer Theory: MO417 and MO405.

Article 2: The disciplines that condition the dismissal of EQG in a given area are as follows:

I. Computer Systems: any discipline listed in the Catalog as SC or SP that is not a topic.

II. Information Systems: any discipline listed in the Catalog as SI that is not a topic

III. Computer Theory: any discipline listed in the Catalog as TC that is not of topics.

Sole Paragraph - In order to eliminate the EQG in the Doctorate in Computer Science course, the student must have concept A in his area of ​​activity and at least average B in the sum between the other two areas. Therefore, the student may have the following concepts for eliminating the EQG: A + A + A, A + A + B, A + B + B or A + A + C.

Article 3: This resolution takes effect on the date of its publication and revokes the previous Resolutions on the same subject.
