Subject: MC723: Exercise 1 - RA XXXXXX

Contents: A .tgz file with all the source files (* .cpp, * .cc, * .C, * .hpp, * .H, Makefile) in a directory whose name will be formed by the 6 digits of your RA.

Statement

Implement the example from Chapter 2 of the SystemC manual (you can copy and paste the manual code). Run and study the model. Based on it, implement duplex communication in the same style. This exercise does not impose additional restrictions.

Objectives

This exercise is designed to be simple. There should be no difficulty running the code. Students, at the end of the activity, must be able to:

Understand the meaning of the concept of Specification/Executable Model
Compile and Run a Model in SystemC
Understand the structure of models in SystemC
Code in SystemC (I would like them to read the entire manual)
