What do I expect from a good report?
A good report should not only show the data obtained in the activity but also indicate how it was collected. In a simple way, they must indicate everything that is necessary to reproduce the reported data.
This is a suggestion for dividing into sections of the report:
- Introduction: Brief introduction to the subject of the report, indicating the motivation and overview of the subject. In general, try to indicate the reason for the activity and what are your expectations regarding the results.
- Methodology: Describe the activity and what are the results that will come out of it. In general, describe the tools, steps and what you are looking for with each one. Do not forget the design decisions.
- Results: Describe the results obtained by analyzing them. In general, it is not enough just a number as a result, it must be relevant and be described correctly.
- Conclusions: Indicate what were the conclusions you drew from the experiment. In general, the conclusions must match the expectations indicated in the introduction.
- Bibliography: Bibliography used at work. For this discipline, the most obvious bibliographies, such as the book by MC722, can be omitted.
