Hello!

I'm an Assistant Professor at University of Campinas (UNICAMP), in the Institute of Computing (IC). I'm also a faculty member of the REasoning for COmplex Data laboratory (Recod.ai), a research line coordinator at the Hub for Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Architectures (H.IAAC), and a researcher at the Hub of Artificial Intelligence for Health and Well-being (Viva Bem).

My main research line is in the development of cutting-edge Machine Learning (ML) techniques and their application into a range of practical applications, such as Bioinformatics, the usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in health and well-being, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) applied in marketing, recommender systems and related topics.
