However, the method requires careful manual delineation and introduces artifacts. We present a fully automated approach to extract an ``envelope'' of the brain and obtain surfaces of same Euclidean distance to the envelope. The visualization of the voxel intensities on these isosurfaces substitute the previous procedure, eliminating its artifacts. The new approach was successfully evaluated over 40 controls and 10 patients with dysplastic lesions. } }
