#
# Description:
#
# One plant, occupying the right half of the page, spanning from
# top edge to bottom edge.
#
# Two paragraphs (unit ยต{P}) with 6.0 and 6.8 lines at the top of
# the page, left-justified and following the plant's outline on the
# right.
#
# There is a mark at the SE corner, looking like "29" with
# a descending "9". Rene [04 Apr 1999] reports that it is
# barely darker than the text.
#
# The leaves of the plant are painted with strong red tempera around
# the edges, leaving a round unpainted area in the middle. The
# flower is painted with watercolor in varying shades of grayish
# blue-green; the top petal has a more vivid color and a "dry brush"
# texture. A spindle-shaped lane down the middle of each petal is
# left unpainted. The flower's core is painted with transparent
# light golden yellow, the surrounding ring being left unpainted.
# The root is painted with ocher watercolor. The paint seems to
# have been applied with moderate care.
#
# Comments:
#
# The peculiar color of the leaves and flowers may be due to
# the painter mistaking one for the other, on account of their
# shapes.
#
# The mark at the SE corner is almost surely the quire number, "2nd"
# in abbreviated Latin.
