  By "vimak" I usually refer to an odorless "removedor" bought at the
  supermarket. It claims to be "aliphatic hydrocarbons".  There are other
  products by that brand, including a cheaper "removedor" with a strong smell,
  and kerosene.
  
  Vimak is good for removing label glue from bottles, even plastic ones.
