cobalt pigment

In another test tube (MC18e) added a flake of (MC18) (olive-black ppt),
~5 mm dia, ~1 mm thk, with ~20 mm H2O, and a generous amount of ascorbic
acid.  Suspension turned from greenish brown milky to reddish brown milky.

Dropped H2O2 on the filter paper with residues of (MC14), but nothing happened --
not even H2O2 decompn. 

Added some ascorbic acid to (MC9) itself.  Restored the clear blue color and removed the black cloudiness.
