  Egg silhuettes from photos of a real "caipira" chicken egg. Photos
  taken with a Samsung Galaxy 4 smartphone against a black card. Silhouttes
  extracted with gimp, mostly by stretching the saturation and the
  "Colors" / "Components" / "Extract Component" /
  "HSV Saturation".  Did not work well. In the end clipped the silhouette 
  with the Lasso and did some cleanup of the edges with eraser and brush.
