This directory contains images of signs of various kinds
obtained by querying Google o 2010-08-06.

Directories

  asis -- original images as downloaded from the net,
  in various formats (jpeg, gif, etc.)
  
  orig -- manually cropped and sometimes rescaled images (.png)
  
  ptru -- manually generated preliminary groundtruth for the text characters (.png)

In each directory, the images are identified by 3-digit numbers.
File asis/NNN.txt has the URL of the original image.
