The southern half of the island will be crossed by the Pimental Dam, part of the Belo Monte hydroelectric complex.

The polygon follows the vegetation outline, excluding flat barren areas (sandy or rocky) that are probably submerged in the rainy season.
The outline is uncertain because the available images are obscured by clouds.</description><isbuilding value="no"/><isdeleted value="no"/><isprotected value="no"/><location><lon>-51.9104648</lon><lat>-3.4289151</lat><country>Brazil</country><state>Para</state><place>Altamira</place><place_local_name></place_local_name><distance>36842</distance><north>-3.419587</north><south>-3.4382431</south><east>-51.906302</east><west>-51.9146275</west></location><polygon>
