  Goal: create an image database from all image files in 
  my home directory.
  
  At each séance, create a new subdirectory called ${hdir} = yyyy-mm-dd",
  and work inside it:
  
    set hdir = `yyyy-mm-dd`
    mkdir ${hdir} 
    cd ${hdir}; pwd
