Scatterplots of VMs pages

The plots

• Plots based on word frequencies.
• Plots based on word class frequencies.

The plots look all like this:

Each square dot stands for one page of the manuscript; its coordinates are derived from the relative frequencies of certain words, letters, letter groups, etc. in that page.

Only those pages that are present in the input text are plotted. The dots are color-coded according to the a division of the text into plotting sections, somewhat finer than the traditional division.

Consecutive pages within the same section are connected by straight lines, into a polygonal path. A break in the path indicates a section boundary, or pages that are missing in the source text.
