This page is generally assumed to depict a species of /Centaurea/ mainly because of the shape of the flower.
Most of the text on this page was retraced in the first round of restoration (Rt1). The original traces (Rt0) survive only in the tips of some tails and plumes, and in the outline of the plant, notably the petals.
The rightmost flower seems to have been affected by a light pinkish stain, possibly an attempt to paint the petals.
