I am currently an associate professor in computer science at the Instituto de Computação da UNICAMP. I am also a visiting faculty at the Departamento de Informatica em Saude da Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP).

I finished my PhD in 1991 at the Computer Science Department at the Pennsylvania State University.
